2024 has truly been one of the best years yet for Pacific Surf Designs— an unforgettable year filled with innovation, growth, and meaningful connections. From opening our third wave in Texas to the first-ever contest on the Quarterpipe, there’s much for our team to celebrate and be thankful for.
At the start of the year, we were hard at work in Burnet, Texas, installing a ProFlow Double at Camp Longhorn. This was our first-ever product at a summer camp, and it quickly became a favorite. The ProFlow Double generated an unparalleled level of excitement, with both campers and counselors spending their summer learning new tricks and creating lasting memories on the wave. Fully customizable and perfect for dual riders, the ProFlow Double has proven to be an ideal addition for any venue looking to maximize shredding time and fun.
This summer, we gave our ProFlow Triple at The Grand in Cancun an exciting fresh. After 5 busy years of operation, our team worked diligently to refurbish the wave, ensuring it will continue to deliver exceptional experiences for riders for many years to come.
September marked a major milestone for us. Scott’s Pointe in Calverton, New York, hosted the inaugural Gnar B Que contest on our Quarterpipe—an exciting event that brought competitors from across the country to showcase their skills in both strapped and unstrapped categories. The Quarterpipe, a groundbreaking innovation and one of our proudest achievements, proved to be a fantastic product for hosting a unique event. We can’t wait to see what’s next for this venue and its passionate riders. It’s always inspiring to see contests held on Pacific Surf waves, and we hope to see more venues host similar events in the future.
In the fall, we focused on strengthening relationships and forging new connections. We attended the WWA show in Las Vegas and IAAPA in Orlando, where we had the chance to showcase our products, promote our brand, and network with industry leaders. It’s always a highlight to share how our waves can create exciting opportunities and generate revenue for venues around the world. We’re excited to attend more trade shows in the future and continue building on these valuable connections.
Overall, 2024 has been a fantastic year for Pacific Surf Designs, and if 2025 is anything like the year we've just had, we can’t wait to dive in and make even more waves!
